Social Skills Group Therapy for Teens

Heritage Counseling is offering Social Skills Group Therapy for Teenagers for teens aged 14 - 18 years old at our Plano location. This ongoing group will have 16 bi-weekly sessions that focus on developing and strengthening social skills in teens. Members of this group are encouraged to receive individual therapy sessions with a clinician apart from group therapy but this is not required.

This group is led by our psychologist Dr. Casey Ferri, PSY.D., M.S., who specializes in adolescent counseling and has experience working with teenagers. Modeled after the PEERS (Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills) evidence-based curriculum for teens, this group will assist group members in having easier interactions overall, as well as a sense of belonging and increased self-confidence.
