Dr. Brian Levins, M.D., is a board-certified Psychiatrist treating children, adolescents, and adults; and is a member of both the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. 

Growing up in a military family, he has resided on both coasts of the United States as well as Okinawa, Japan during his high school years. Dr. Levins attended Johns Hopkins University before matriculating into the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his internal medicine internship at the Drexel College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He later finished his Psychiatry residency at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University Health. Dr. Levins then completed his Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. 

While in Cincinnati, Ohio, he also served adult and geriatric psychiatric patients in urgent care and inpatient settings, as well as patients with substance use disorders in a local outpatient clinic. After leaving Cincinnati, Dr. Levins did locum tenens work for an acute inpatient psychiatric facility in southern Kentucky and a pediatric residential treatment facility in Ewa Beach, Hawaii.

Dr. Levins is recognized for his excellence in psychiatry, receiving the prestigious Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship from the American Psychiatric Association Foundation. His commitment to academic achievement is further underscored by the Merit Scholarship from the Measey Foundation and the Four-Year Full-Tuition Scholarship from the Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps.

As a board-certified psychiatrist, Dr. Levins holds certifications from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is licensed in Hawaii, Ohio, Kentucky, and Georgia, with an active DEA X-waiver for substance abuse treatment. Additionally, he maintains a Basic Life Support Provider status.

In his spare time, Dr. Levins enjoys spending time with his partner, and their two puppies, Tio and Tai. He is also avidly interested in traveling, culinary arts, weightlifting, and other fitness-related activities.
