Heritage Counseling Offers Free Support for Those Affected by the Texas Hill Country Floods

Over the weekend, tragedy struck the Texas Hill Country in a way none of us could have imagined. Sudden and devastating floods swept through the region, taking precious lives, shattering families, and leaving an entire community in mourning. Among the heartbreaking losses were the young girls at Camp Mystic, a place filled with laughter, memories, and the spirit of summer joy. Some were rescued. Some survived but carry deep emotional scars. And far too many did not make it home.

At Heritage Counseling, our hearts are heavy. We grieve alongside the families in Dallas, Austin, Plano, and throughout Texas who are facing unimaginable pain. No words can undo what has happened, but we want to offer what we can: care, presence, and a space for healing.
